Under the hood, the MediaTek MT6755 octa-core processor powers the phone and is paired with 3GB of RAM for great multitasking. It comes with 16GB of onboard storage which can be expanded up to 200GB via a microSD card.

As for the cameras, Sony decided to make the selfie camera stand out from the rest. It has a 16 megapixel sensor with LED flash and OIS (optical image stabilization). On the rear is a 21.5 megapixel snapper with hybrid autofocus and LED flash.

The device is equipped with a meagre 2700mAh battery which Sony claims will last up to 2 days on a single charge. It also has quick charging capabilities – you get 5.5 hours of battery life in just 10 minutes of charge. It will be available in white, graphite black and lime gold colours.

The device will be released in July but there’s no word on pricing yet. You’ll be updated once the details are available.
