Chinese smartphone manufacturer ZTE recently took the wraps off the Nubia Z11 MAX  in China. It is the second device in the ZII series, following the Z11 Mini that was launched two months ago.

The device features a 6-inch Full HD display with Corning Glass 3 and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with the Nubia UI skin on top. Under the hood, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 chipset powers the handset with 4 Cortex-A72 cores clocked at 1.8GHz and 4 Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.4GHz. The phone is packed with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage that is expandable via microSD card.

The Nubia Z11 Max comes with a 16MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, dual-tone LED flash and sapphire glass protection. There is also an 8MP front-facing camera with f/2.4 aperture and 80-degrees wide angle lens. It has a fingerprint reader on the back and a battery capacity of 4000mAh. It supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS connectivity options. It will be available in silver, grey and gold colours.

Price and Availability

The Nubia Z11 Max will go sale in China from June 16 for CNY 1999 ($304). There is also the Cristiano Ronaldo Collector’s Edition of the Nubia Z11 Max with the footballer’s image and autograph at the back. This special edition is priced a CNY 2299 ($349) and will be available from June 18.

When available in Nigeria, the Nubia Z11 Max is expected to sell within the price range of N90,000 – N160,000.
